 Welcome to Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center
Scuba Diving on Phi Phi Island got its' start in the late 80's and Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center was one of the first Dive Centres on the island - opening in 1989 and operating out of a converted bungalow.
The Centre has developed steadily over the years, and with the expansion of our fleet and services, Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center has become the premier Dive Schools on the island.
In 1999, Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center joined PADI as a PIRA Member (PIRA International Resort Association). This recognition from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) was received as a result of providing excellent customer service, outstanding equipment and offering all Courses from beginner to professional level according to PADI standards. Additionally in 2005 Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center also became a SSI instructor training center.
How to find us?
Finding Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center is easy. Take a right at the end of the ferry pier and walk down the "main road" for approximately 200 meters to the biggest crossing on the island. This is where you'll find our bright yellow house (like all the Boats), which is the largest Snorkelling and Diving Centre on the island - hence the name Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center.
Our facilities
Our Facility consists of our store, a separate air filling/repair station and our fleet of Boats.
The premise is a two floor building with two classrooms, a big wet zone with enough space for the rental equipment - currently more then 70 sets in all sizes - and customer equipment. In front of the premise is a huge sun and rain protected area for our customers with tables and chairs, a social area and meeting point for divers and travelers right in the heart of the village.
On the second floor there is a Bar/Cafe. Customers can relax here and have a drink while filling out logbooks and watching the video of the days diving. Yes - we film you while diving and if you really like what you see - of course you can buy a copy of the video.
Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center has a fleet of bright yellow Dive Boats (like our Dive Shop) which is the largest and one of the newest fleet on the island. We have 4 large custom-built Dive Boats, a Speedboat and a huge, comfortable custom-built Snorkelling Boat.
All of our Boats are very spacious with plenty of room for gearing up as well as relaxing. The low platforms on our Boats makes entry and exit comfortable, while fresh water hand showers for cameras, toilets and other essential extras are further conveniences for our customers.
Because safety is one of a main priority all our Boats are fully insured and carry Oxygen, First Aid Kits and Radio's.
Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center, with its' large fleet of Boats, is able to offer customers every Trip we have in our program, any Day you like - basically the choice is yours!
